Nike Basketball and LeBron James are officially set to release his sixteenth signature with the brand, the Nike LeBron 16. Before the shoe debuts, LeBron James was spotted wearing them giving us a first look at the upcoming Black/University Red colorway.
Featuring a re-engineered Flyknit upper and the full-length visible Zoom/Max combo bag for support, the LeBron 16 signature shoe promises all of the top-shelf performance aspects of the LeBron 15 model, but tweaked and tuned to further fit the King’s exact specifications. This closer look reveals the crown logo emblazoned on the tongue, the lion carved into the over-sized heel, and a completely new upper that boasts a distinctive pattern with the diagonal ribs. A large “2” and “3” are also embossed onto the midfoot at the tongue.
The Nike LeBron 16 is coming this fall as expected. Said to have a release date of September 20th, LeBron just debuted what looks like the launch colorway today. Stay tuned for more updates.
