An ode to her family, Jarvis’s Chuck Taylor is centered around a floral print as a means to pay respect or “give the man his flowers.” The symbolic act of giving flowers celebrates and pays tribute to life, in homage to Shaniqwa’s father’s sharp sartorial aesthetic.
This floral print uses pink, black and white, and covers the vast majority of the CX’s stretch canvas upper. A classic All-Star badge appears on the lateral collar, and the tongue is done up in stark white for contrast. Jarvis’s name appears on the inner tongue for a PE-style pop of flair. On the lower half, toe caps and midsoles are made up of translucent rubber for an interesting layered detail, with outsoles featuring a potent pink. Two sets of laces – plain white and floral – allow for customization, and a special box that replicates the shoe’s floral print rounds off the look.
